NCWDE is a nonprofit focused on creating opportunities for individuals to gain exposure to careers in the trades. We are a collaborative effort between the Omaha Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO, The William Brennan Institute for Labor Studies at UNO, the United Way of the Midlands, and the local business community to increase the qualified workforce in Nebraska. This is a unique collaboration between labor, business, and government to create a public-private partnership to address the skill-gap in Nebraska’s workforce.

Blue Collar Boxing is an exciting and competitive fundraiser that features local labor union members fighting against each other in the ring.
